The IGF Secretariat would like to welcome you to the IGF Web site. The design is aimed to make the site user-friendly and give it the ability to add on tools for better online collaboration. We welcome your comments and suggestions as we continuously try to improve our ability to foster dialogue on Internet governance.

 
The IGF 2010 Meeting

The fifth annual IGF Meeting will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 14-17 September 2010.

 

Preparing the IGF 2010 Meeting

A first round of open consultations will be held in Geneva on 9 February 2010 to take stock of the Sharm El Sheikh meeting and will discuss the agenda and the format of the Vilnius meeting.

The meeting will take place in Salle XIX of the Palais des Nations. Meeting hours 10:00 - 13:00 and 15:00 - 18:00.

The consultations will be followed by a meeting of the MAG on 10-11 February 2010.

Online registration is now closed.

[New] The 9 February Open Consultations will be Webcast (audio and video).

[New] The Remote Participation Working Group (RPWG) in cooperation with the IGF Secretariat will make available a moderated chat function for online interaction; the link is http://www.igfremote.info/RP/ and the twitter hashtag that will be used is #IGF10. The Webcast of the open consultations will be available through this link : http://media.lscube.org/live . The VLC player is the recommended media player to view the webcast and is available free of charge.

Call for contributions:

Written contributions that take stock of the Sharm El Sheikh meeting and provide suggestions for the agenda and format of the Vilnius meeting are welcome and will be posted on an ongoing basis. Please send the contributions to

The fourth annual IGF Meeting was held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt on 15-18 November 2009.
